Join the Shae Foundation in a Celebration of Life!

Friday, December 12, 2008 6:30 PM - 10:00 PM

FUEL Collection, 249 Arch Street, Philadelphia

Despite our differences surrounding the death penalty, we can agree…no innocent person should be executed.  There's much to be thankful for during this holiday season, LIFE is most important.

Program includes musical, educational, and inspirational presentations in the beautiful, intimate setting of the FUEL Collection.

  • Musical Performance by Stephen Framil, Critically Acclaimed and World Renowned Cellist accompanied by Julie Nishimura, Pianist  www.ssp-international.com/framil/biography.html
  • Musical performance by Sharon Silverstein of the Peace Project. www.livingatpeace.com
  • Critically Acclaimed, Award Winning Filmmaker, Terry Benedict
  • Scott Langley, Documentary, Death Penalty Photographer. Experience exclusive death penalty photography exhibit featuring never before seen photos surrounding Troy Davis's stay of execution. www.langleycreations.com
  • Martina Correia, Troy Davis’s sister and primary advocate
  • Shujaa Graham, an inspiring survivor who spent 5 years on San Quentin’s death row. In 1981 his conviction was overturned and Shujaa was released. www.shujaa.org   www.witnesstoinnocence.org

Any donations will benefit the Shae Foundation’s filming of The Death of Reasonable Doubt, a feature length documentary film inspired by the case of Troy Davis, a Georgia Death Row inmate. Troy’s 19 year cry of innocence continues to echo throughout the world yet he treasures each second of life, especially during this holiday season. His life spared just minutes before death by lethal injection three times, his fate now lies with the 11th US Circuit Court of Appeals. Troy’s execution could take place before Christmas, 2008. This film will portray a breakdown in the core judicial principle of reasonable doubt that leads potentially innocent men and women to death row. Until this story is told, we are all at risk.  All donations are tax deductible.
